How to Rent

At Mainely Babies, our goal is to make your travels as easy as possible. We have all the essential equipment you’ll need for your stay in Maine or journey out of town.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time; we’d love to hear from you and help!

HOW IT WORKS

  • On the “Rent” page, you will be able to select the products you need for your stay and add them to your cart for checkout.  You will be asked a start and end date for your rental as well as a delivery location.
  • We deliver to areas within 35 miles of  Greater Portland
  • Before checking out, you will be asked to review and accept our Terms and Conditions.
  • Please note that you will be charged at the time of booking your reservation.  Mainely Babies accepts major credit cards and uses Pay Pal as our processing platform.
  • Note that in the event of cancellation you will be refunded based on our cancellation policy detailed below.  Reservations cancelled within 24 hours will not be refunded.
  • Someone from Mainely Babies will follow up with you to confirm your order and delivery information.
  • The equipment will be delivered to the specified location between 10am & 2pm.  If the equipment is being delivered a hotel or rental property please let the front desk or property management team know that you are expecting the delivery.
  • You do not need to be present for the delivery as long as arrangements are made with the facility/delivery location.  Rentals will not be left unattended.
  • Equipment pick up will also be made between 10am & 2pm unless otherwise arranged.
  • Pick ups and drop offs after hours will be subject to a $15 delivery fee.

OUR POLICIES

  • Delivery charges are as follows:  $10 fee for deliveries made within a 15 mile radius of Portland, ME (04101).  16-25 miles from 04101 – $20 fee,  26-35 miles from 04101- $30 fee, beyond 35 miles, please contact Mainely Babies to discuss options and fees.
  • There is a $35 minimum rental required on all orders, excluding delivery fees.
  • Rental equipment deliveries will be made between 10am-2m, unless otherwise specified.  Note that after hours deliveries are subject to a $15 fee.
  • Orders placed within 24 hours of the delivery will be assessed a $15 rush fee
  • Equipment pick ups will also be made between 10am and 2pm, however gear should be ready by 10am on day of  your departure.
  • We truly value our customers if you are not satisfied with your rentals and/or experience, please contact us ASAP.
  • Cancellation Policy:  Canceling your reservation at least 1 week (7 days) prior to your scheduled delivery will result in a 100% refund.  Canceling your reservation between 1 week and 48hrs of your scheduled delivery will result in a 50% refund, and there will be no refund for reservations cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery.
